What is an Aroma Jockey?
An aroma jockey is a real-time perfumer that composes various fragrances in accordance with the music being played or action or product being shown at that moment.
I pioneered the concept and coined the term "aroma jockey," which eventually became an officially new word in the Dutch language.
On stage, I create scents with two traditional scent instruments, incense burners and fragrance sprays. With ventilators I wave pre-composed and carefully orchestrated sequences of natural scents through the audience at events.
Parties, festivals, events, dinners, film screenings, product launches, and concerts are getting scented in real-time to create an authentic, multi sensory, and synesthetic experience for all the audience.
